for those of you who are following this build here's a little incite on brake plumbing. Coincidentally this is the way I have my SSII is set up also. Plumb the front brakes directly from the master cylinder and the use an adjustable proportioning valve to the rear brakes. Then when you set up the brakes adjust the valve so that the rear brakes lock up well after the front ones do. Here a picture of the valve mounted on my truck, you will see the conduit that will be used for wiring just above the valve.

Tonight I got headlight buckets installed. I had to fab up all the mounts, the lights were orignally mounted to the fenders.

There is a great fellow in astralia that is repoping the nose badge thank god. I have looked and bought three or four of these grill shells and still never found a good one. This is like the cherry on my hotrod.

Got the head lights installed, I had the buckets powder coated. They look very nice and I won't have to worry so much about them driving the truck. The turn indicators are in the bottom of the lights, this will keep the truck clean looking.

Kit stopped by with my seat tonight. I am thinking this is just fricking cool. I had the idea to use these for the seat a couple years ago, and am just now got them done. Note these are hair on hides.

I saw your radiators Jeff and they are a killer bargain, I had a radiator built when I had the radiator shop. I had to have the top cut at angles to fit the grill shell. I will be working this over in the coming week, I plan on using mandrel bent exhaust pipe for the hoses, then having it powder coated or maybe chrome.

Jeff here's the radiator we had to mod up to fit the grill shell, as you can see it's a very tight fit. I will be using "c" type holders on the bottom and it will fasten to the top of the grill.

Also got the drive shaft back from the shop, it was shortened and balanced. They were fair was just under a hundred bones and they installed two new joints. You also the the shifter in the picture, I guess I am starting a trend with the snap-on shifter handles, maybe that will be my signature on up coming builds. I have three combination wrenches to shift the atlas in my SSII.

So gary showed up and help me with the hotrod today, had to replace a motor mount flange for a chrome one.

Got my headers back from powder, check out how nice they fit around the steering box.

Here's todays money shot, the flanges are thick and the pipes are massive. These just look killer and should breath great, but it will be just a little loud even with the built in muffler

Satin black ceramic powder, richy the flanges you made are bad ass. They are thick enough it should never leak and they are spot on............thanks
