Sad times are upon me, my Dad passed 2 months ago. My Mom passed 5 days ago. My Scout passed yesterday. I drove her about 6 miles to a side job on Saturday. She started leaking in front of the house next door to destination. It was the freeze plug on the block down by the fuel pump. Took 2 trips to get the right size but I got it in. I popped a small hole in 2 radiator tubes putting it all back together in the dark. Sunday went back tried to solder the radiator, didn't work. Tried pinching the 2 tubes. One sealed the other still leaked but minor. So drove her home. She ran like a champ. Got home and popped the hood to find the whole front of the engine, underside of the hood, fenders and alternator were drenched with oil. Apparently the gasket on the fuel pump did not reseal. I let her sit until this morning when I pulled the fuel pump back off to apply rtv and re install. Only to find the white milky foamy crap that shows water in the oil. I pulled the dip stick to find the same thing along with rust spots above the fluid levels. She never overheated so I guess I must have punched a hole between the water and oil jackets while trying to get the old freeze plug off. I doubt I can come up with another motor scenario like I had with Danny. I just don't know what happened, only had about 80 miles on this motor, maybe this was why it was in the back of Danny's Scout and not under the hood. I am just spent, emotional bankrupt. I have nothing left and now lost my only transportation again.
