It's in the range of 10 to 50 ohms. Like I said above, an el cheapo 12v indicator bulb in series with the new wire you ran will work. Lot's of people have done it. It just has to be an incandescent bulb, not LED. It doesn't stay lit solidly the whole time you're driving. It will cycle on briefly when you first switch your key to ON and then it may periodically cycle on and off as the engine is running. You can also explore the option of going with a one wire versus the three wire setup on the alternator. I'm not going to advocate or push one versus the other. Just making you aware of the option. It's up to you to weigh things and and decide for yourself.
