Possibilities include improper wiring or bad voltage regulator. Don't know which style of alternator you have. Either externally or internally regulated.

Understand, I was referring to no external voltage regulator, I really appreciate the assist, I’m hoping the belts help but Im leaning towards the alternator

Ok, so it's a Delco 10si internally regulated unit. First thing you need to do is revisit all the associated wiring at the alternator itself. Maybe post some pics.

Here is a diagram of the wiring,

I think the problem is you have no excite wire anymore. You show a 14ga white wire from the #1 alternator terminal going to the BHC. The original wire for this purpose was a very small gauge brown with white tracer. It was a special resistor wire. A standard wire like the one you ran in it's place doesn't have enough resistance to excite the alternator into increasing the voltage output. If you no longer have that resistor wire, you'll need to wire a small 12 volt idiot light bulb into that 14 gauge wire somewhere under the dash to introduce a small load into the circuit. That should get you charging.

No. That's the other resistor wire. Two resistor wires with two very different, but important roles. I noticed that you're running a ballast resistor in place of the one wire that went to the coil.

It's in the range of 10 to 50 ohms. Like I said above, an el cheapo 12v indicator bulb in series with the new wire you ran will work. Lot's of people have done it. It just has to be an incandescent bulb, not LED. It doesn't stay lit solidly the whole time you're driving. It will cycle on briefly when you first switch your key to ON and then it may periodically cycle on and off as the engine is running. There's lot's of information on this topic if you want to dive deeper into it on the google box. Just search excite wire bypass bulb. You can also explore the option of going with a one wire versus the three wire setup on the alternator. I'm not going to advocate or push one versus the other. Just making you aware of the option. It's up to you to weigh things and and decide for yourself.

I’m surprised there isn’t a 10-50 ohm resistor, great help so far, really appreciate the expertise, I’ll post how it works after the fix

Yeah IDK. There might be, but I'm not aware of it. The bulb method is how people have been dealing with this for centuries. Seems cheap and easy enough. Sometimes simple is better.

Oh snap! Yeah, I don't really have to worry about that in SW (rainy side) of Oregon. The worst snakes here are the politicians up north in Salem and Portland.
