That's kinda what I figured, Thursday the 16th we stay up all night finishing Mike's junk so we can leave early Friday morning. :rolleyes5: :dita:

As we get closer you guys need to let me know where you want me to pick you up and at what time to run you back to the scouts. Did you guys decide to run it from the tahoe side or the g-town side?

Which end is closer to jeffs shop? I think that is the end we should park the tow rigs at and start at the other. Unless the trail is better to run from the other direction?

Well the georgetown side is closer. I have only ran the trail from the tahoe side once. I think it is slightly more of a challenge from that side, you go down cadillac which can be a bit of a butt pucker and up old sluice which is pretty challenging. If it were me I would run it from the tahoe side.

Tahoe side sounds good to me. :icon_cool:

whos rig would you borrow to run it? :dita:

is there a safe place to part tow rigs on the georgetown side?

Well thats a very short list, I guess thats why I'm just playing transport bitch and not running it with you.

Yeah, you can leave them at the staging area below the damn. There will be a few parked there, thats where we have always left them.

Hey gang. It looks like I will be driving my Scout up versus tow it. What way are we going and whats the plan? I am here in portland so I will link up with the group whenever you roll thru. My cell is 503-709-3747 if anyone wants to call or send a txt when you guys get close to town. I live in sw portland just off i5. Looks like the rain May not hit us on the east side but we will have to keep checking thru the week. I hope it stays away!! Keep me posted on the plan! See you all soon

I'll give you a call when were headed up there, but were probably going to try and leave pretty earlly (6:00ish) and hit 205 to 84.

Glad your going to make it!

Its on scouters!! I will catch all of you as you pass thru portland. I decided the front seat of my company superduty sounded much more comfy then the Scout for the trip so I decided to rent a trailer =) I will bring firewood, canopy and lots of chairs and stuff. Dboy.. Call me or txt when you guys are on the road and hit salem. I will meet the convoy at the troutdale/fairview exit. Its the last one before you start to head into the gorge. When you exit the freeway there are gas stations, fast food and a truck stop on the right side. I will be there waiting. See you all tomorrow! Lets hope for nice weather on the east side! Look pretty good for most of the trip! Drive safe all. Peace!
