Hello..... In Colorado here, happened to find this site from doing general reseach....

76 II xlc 345 manual... Looking forward to learning all that I can...

Alan in tulsa, ok. I've been a fan of internationals probably 'cause my Dad was/is. He won't let his dead ones go for anything. Just bought a Scout II, I have named scoutie. Wanted to find out what to do with it. So google led me here. Have read many post already with great interest. Amazed at the parts available for them. Looking forward to coming back often.

Welcome aboard alan! You joined a good bunch here. Now get to wrenching and bring that 72 back to life! You won't regret it.

Hi all! I was searching for more options for parts on my first Scout project and found IH parts. Great to see so many with the same obsession. Im from valdosta georgia and yes, we all sound like doc holiday in tombstone. Happy scouting!

Like a lays potato chip (remember those ads) no one can eat just one. . .no one can live with just one Scout . picked up another Scout for parts.:icon_lol: working away to get drivable.

Greetings from Arizona! Newbie here. I picked up a 1979 IH Scout II last month in phoenix. I love the truck, but need to get kicking on some tlc. I haven't really been around scouts too much since I was a kid and my grandfather had a couple. But I figured what better time than now? I will be in touch here, especially when the temperatures aren't in the triple digits here!
I've already started asking questions on the forum and I appreciate the insights and advice already. Much thanks! Time to start sinking the $$$ into her!

Hello everyone! I found this forum looking for parts for my new 1973 scoutii, there is alot of useful info. And references. Thank you in advance!

Pulling the trigger on a pretty clean 1973 1210 pick up tomorrow night! Needs some mechanical attention (brakes, trans, blinkers)to be safe and reliable, but I am stoked about the condition of the body and interior! Where is the best place to shop replacement parts?

Hey there everyone! Newbie to the Scout world. Long time classic car and truck guy. I used to work at a company called early Bronco specialties in boise. I was the cage and rust repair guy. Mainly spent the day bending up and welding up roll cages, bumpers, shock hoops, etc. I acquired an 1980 Scout ll from my buddy who is a long time Scout guy. Details are small block Chevy, np435 and Dana 300 case. Floors rusty, rockers rusty and quarters have rust. Great start though! I fell in love with it! Glad to have joined the sickness!
Thanks
john
