New member here,
just picked up an all most all original 1967 1200b step-side 4x4 pickup with 4.88 gears, Dana 44 in front, and Dana 60 w/ power-lok in the rear, np202 transfer case and a 266ci v8 engine with owner stated 67k miles... But might be 167k... Or 267k?
Original split rims, drum brakes, good tires and a good bit of rust. Runs good now that I resealed the gas tank and ran some new gas lines and filters. Plan on getting the original mechanical fuel pump back in service after I find a proper rebuild kit and new filters. Need to find a new windshield, fix a leaking radiator, recondition the steering wheel and sort out a few small electrical gremlins and I'm on my way!
Top speed is around 60 mph and will climb just about anything! Plan on making it a solid weekend work truck for home depot runs and the various trips to the dump and the like.
Really liking the old corn-binder way of life! As honest as a truck can be... It is what it is, and does what it does!
Thanks for the help,
boyd
