MLS Install

I'll take all you got chris, just let me know what I owe you and we'll even up, hopefully the weekend of the 12th I'll make it over that way. I appreciate all the help. Thanks

I just dropped the stuff in the mail. Pay me what you think the stuff is worth to you, if it works great double it!

Hope it helps.

Chris, I meant I should be over this coming weekend, not the 12th. Not sure where I got that. I'll give you a call before we head over, probably on sat. Thanks for everything.

Bill, I'll get those chips in the mail on Monday. Thanks again.

Chris, chips and injectors installed. Started on the 1st crank. I'll be over the hill on sat. Give you a call before then to see if you'll be available, if not let me know where to stash your $ and where the springs will be.

I couldn't get any data logged last nite, stupid usb to serial cable still seems to not work. This is the second one I've gotten, starting to think it's me??

Yeah!!

I think I will be around Saturday -- if not I will set the springs in front of my garage and you can grab them. Stuff the cash under the garage door....

After doubleing checking the connections on the aldl connector are good, you can just hook it up and reboot the laptop. So times it will find it then. You can tell the lap top to run the program in win 95 mode too.

Re: TBI Spacer 2brl Non Whistling version

Logged some data during a short drive tonight. Seemed to stop logging blm data, maybe it didn't??

Fuel is lean so bump the pressure a pound or 2 if you can.
Your charging system needs tweaked. It is at 12v at idle. Make sure you check out madelectrical.com for tips.

Your log shows you are still in diagnostic mode with the jumper still installed.
Need to check that.

And you have a vss error.

I'll bump the pressure if I can tomorrow. Just for clarification, when do I need the jumper installed to log data? Only at certain times or all the time? Thanks for the quick feedback bill.

Also, I am not using a vss.

You do not want a jumper for logging data.

Do you have your 'jumper' setup on a switch? Or do you have it jumpered someway else while logging data?

I'm glad it is working better now!

I bumped the fp up to 13 psi and ran some logs without the jumper installed. My alternator is only putting out 13.4 volts, I checked the connections and made sure the belts were tight. Looks like I'll be replacing it this next weekend. But until then here's the latest.

Read and do this one again!

It's probably not the alt.

Finally got around to logging some data. I worked on my voltage and the fp is about as high as I can get.

I'm still trying to get my kick down linkage fine tuned, but the truck bogs down really bad when I take off at full throttle. And once in awhile it will pop through the tb when you full throttle from an idle. Any suggestions?

If you are still at 0 on timing then bump it up to 5 and see if it helps.
Or with the bypass connected and warm set it to 20 at idle.

The accel enrichment May be a little lean but that needs a chip adjustment.

The timing bump seems to have cured the take off. Thanks for all the help bill. I pretty much have the kickdown dialed in and truck is running really good. I went for a long drive today for the 1st time, all over town and down the highway. Here's the logs.

(edit)guess I should have looked at the logs before I posted, there's no info in the log. I'll have to take another drive later. My bad.
