• To ALL forum users - As of late I have been getting quite a few private messages with questions about build ups here on the forum, or tech questions about your personal project. While I appreciate the interest, sending me a private message about these topics distracts from, and undermines the purpose of having a forum here. During the day I wear many hats as a small business owner-operator and I work tirelessly to provide the absolute best service possible to you, our valued customer. When I created this forum I rounded up some of the best minds I knew so that any tech question you might have could be asked and answered by either myself or one of my highly experienced moderators, this way the next time this same question is asked the answer can be easily found and utilized by the next IH enthusiast having the same question. This allows me the freedom to run the day to day operations of the business and minimize the impact to shipments and shop activities that these distractions can cause. It is of the up most importance for me to complete the daily tasks in order to best take care of you our customer, all the while providing you a forum to get the level advice and input you have come to expect and deserve from the premier IH shop in the country.

    So with that I ask that anyone with a question about one of our build ups or a general tech question to please use the forum as it was intended. I am absolutely available by telephone to answer your questions as well but at times may direct you back to our website to better field your question or questions. Most other private messages I will be glad to answer for you.

    I'm this close to throwing in the towel on my turbo conversion as it is. Carb problems and possibly a turbo problem and I'm tired of chasing my tail. I am forced to consider EFI, but we knew that was always the best solution anyway. How would TB work with boost? Have you any experience in that arena or are we in uncharted territory? Let's discuss. I have a very full plate in my personal life and am thinking of yanking the stuff off and going back to stock until such time as I add EFI (either TB or multi) and work that out first with an eye to adding the turbo later. I think I need to move in that direction. Let's discuss what the landscape looks like. my pm is "pietz@sebastiancorp.net"
    Hello Bill, Do you have a source for the distributor/oil pump drive (brass) bushing on a 345? I was told you may have some experience with this.

    Question about EFI, since you seem to be the pro.
    I have a 76, Scout II with a 345.
    What issues have you experienced with Smog? I have the complete setup off of my 92 camaro that I changed over to TPI from TBI. So I was thinking of getting the small kit from IHonly N.

    Bill, hate to discuss this behind closed doors, but don't want harm the relationship between AFI and IHON. My experience with AFI for my needs has been lackluster. I'm still waiting on a chip with a leaner fuel curve to swap with my rich one. I'm miffed. I don't know if Jeff could speed up the process, or maybe an experienced hand like yourself could lend a hand. I need a new chip to finish what I started, or at least to eliminate another possibility. Would a call to Jeff to get AFI off there arse be worthwhile? Or should I make other arrangements? Thanks for all the help.
