Compression test on 304A

Those cylinder surfaces are deeply etched. Those will never do.

Bore it and hone the cylinders to finish diameter and be done with it.

There has been water (coolant) in the engine, all finely finished bearing surfaces must be carefully inspected for etching. No doubt the cam bearing babbit surface will be etched too.
 
anybody have any recommendations on a reputable machine shop in the portland area or down south, salem, eugene?
