Welcome Back Mayben!

I was thinking the other day about how I hadn't seen him on. Me musta been lost in a great state of texas for awhile! Nice to see ya back!

We've been through quite a bit of medical hell the last several months.

Kathy had major knee surgery last month (she's now living in the chicago area and working for navistar), she's doing just fine right now. She's living with one of our best friends who moved to chicago to work for a toyota subsidiary, they just moved into a real nice apartment last week. She comes home now once a month for a weekend.

After having the heart hole patched, during cardiac rehab we discovered I had severe back issues. That is the primary issue right now. I can't do shit in the shop at all. Hopefully, the injections scheduled for late next week will take care of the pain stuff for awhile so I can get back to work.

In the mean time, my daughter in texas got married so I went back for that, nine days (round trip) on amtrak (which I'll never do again!).

I can sit up right now for maybe 30 minutes and then have to recline. So not much time to deal with the computer stuff. Once the steroid injections are done, I'm certain I can get back to whatever normal is.

Damn Mike.. I think it's time to get you set up with life alert.. Just a little bracelet...:icon_rotate:

seriously though... I hope this back stuff doesn't linger amigo. I don't like when bad things happen to good people.

And I was worried you were in jail :d seriosuly, I had it all figured out, you'd been pulled over in texas for driving too slow, they found some outstanding warrant, the officer didn't believe your story and threw you in the back of the car... :icon_rotate: the misses was out of town and couldn't bail you out, back up your story, prove your id, etc... One thing lead to another and you were stuck for weeks in some small town texas jail cell.

I'm guessing a jail cell might have actually been better than real medical issues and a crappy back. Get better!!!

Having had a couple run-ins with it myself, I know there are few things more debilitating than lingering back problems. Glad you're back Mike. Hope your back comes back real soon now too.

Well you have been missed, michael I hope you get better real soon! I am sure you could get the students of binder u to fab up one of these just until you get better. If they do I might need one before to long:icon_wink:
best wishes

Dang Mike, I wondered what was up. Glad to hear it's not more serious than that, though back pain is a major... Pain!! I guess you're done hefting transmissions from a concrete floor, eh? :nonod:
