smaller tstat housing for 304?

is there a smaller tstat housing to fit a factory 304 intake? this thing takes up way too much real estate.

That is the small one.

That takes up 1/3rd of the space the standard SII waterneck.

mostly i want to reroute the heater hoses , i dont want them in the way of the air cleaner

Buy and offset air cleaner base in your desired size or just run a 10" air cleaner which is plenty of flow for these old engines.

Easy enough to reroute the heater hoses to wherever you want them. You may need to buy some longer hose to accomplish that.

Most commonly, heater hoses are routed down the driver side of the engine, then cross over behind the filter housing to the heater core. As previously mentioned, that requires a longer run to accomplish.
