Here's a brief update on the 496" stroker motor I spun together a while back ...

Owner is making good progress ..

Richmond 5-speed looks right at home ...
This 62 C10 step-side is well on it's way to becoming a slick truck ..

Well ... Did a little boneyard scouting and found a remote reservoir power steering pump .. Already rebuilt a pump for the big block, going to pull it apart and change out the shell ..

Tis a little bit of backing up ..

Powder coat laid down nicely ...

Locating the reservoir up high will make for easy access .. Just need to find a hose that won't dissolve to run from the tank to the pump, and that modification will be done ...

Been busy with painting ..

Filled in a factory gap with weld and bondo ..

Shot epoxy primer ..

Real close to lading on the color ..

Did shoot color on the underside of the sun visor ..

2K Hot-Rod black should keep the glare down ..
The tinted windshield with a sunband built in should also help the cause ...

Well ...

Looks like I fell into doing up another PS pump for a friends body swap ..
He liked how my pump turned out that he asked me if I'd do his pump ..

I said 'Sure'

40 Ford 1 ton on a 99 C-30 frame sporting a 454" Rat with a 700R4 ...
Looking like it'll make a nice Rat Rod ...
