Thanks, I wish I could add headers, but with the new cam and other mods I ran out of point allowances. Our first race is June 11, maybe we'll see you there.

I mounted the radiator and tranny cooler tonight, everything clears the new front clip. I still need to fab some supports to keep the radiator from flexing.

I added some struts to help with the weight of the tilt front and I finally mounted the hood. The fabrication is just about done and it's time to move on to body work.

Thanks, the body mounts are made from (iirc) 2" polyurethane. Terry davidson helped me make them on his lathe.

I have 17 days left to finish this thing and the paint May be wet when we hit the track. :thumbsup:
 
Paint idea...how about a satin black hood right at the body line in the hood with a sidways 440 on it ...maybe a IH tornado next to it like the 70 dusters...

the paint has been a real stressfull ordeal! Maranda never could find the color she wanted, not without spending $600 a gallon. After some wasted dollars on colors she didn't like, we finally have an acceptable paint color and design. It should be ready to spray next week. :thumbsup:
 
Daaaaannnnng! This trucks going to be so nice you'll have to build another one to race. Should be a hit at the bee.
 
More bondo and sanding. I now know how much time and energy Mike roth puts into his half doors, to much.:yikes:

it's suppose to be in the booth on Thursday for primer and Saturday for final paint.

I got it home and now I have a ton of little things to do before this weekend's race. I need to paint the inside, clean up the over spray, get the sponsors stickers mounted, engine tune, brakes, etc...

I would like to thank Jeff here at IHOnly for his generous donations and I can't wait to get his name mounted on the side of this rig.
