Pink 2.0

It was a sad day for maranda, I think she got a little teary eyed. :icon_crying:

I pulled the motor and tranny today. The tranny and carb are on the way to mayben's in the morning. They will come back fresh and ready for the 2011 season.

With less than two months to go until our season opener I have a lot to do yet. More pictures and updates very soon.

Here is a breakdown of the points system used to classify our vehicles. We are at the top of our class with 6.5 points (road & trail) with no more room for modifications. View attachment tech sheet.pdf

I spent a lot of time at the hospital this weekend, but I managed to get a little further along. I also added a GM alternator, converted the mopar distributor to GM hei, and added a GM hydroboost out of a one ton truck.

Pink moves under it's own power now, I finished the wiring and installed the gauges. It left yesterday morning for the autobody shop where we will be fabricating a tilt front clip and prepping for paint.

I certainly hope you are wearing hearing protection while you are using that tool.

Otherwise, it appears as if things are progressing very nicely.

The new pink is looking good. Hopefully I can make it to a few events this year. How bigs the cam in that 440? If your class allows it how about some home fabbed fender well headers. Leave no cheap torque untapped:icon_domokun:

Hmmm...maybe with that awesome tilt front end my idea May be a little difficult . Mud trucks need inner fenders I guess!
