yeehaw daveeboy! About dam time ya showed off pop's ride! Then ya need ta show us pop's tractor!
But...you gonna post a "before" pic or am I gonna havta do it for ya???
I'm just as proud o' pop's rig as you are, I'm sure he's monitoring the progress from up above!
That's funny. That's what my Dad used to call me.
I'm sure he's keepin' tabs. And I know you're proud of my rig and how guud it's runnin'. I am too.
You know you get my Scout if I kick before my time dontcha? The only stipulation is you gotta punch a hole in the oil pan and drive it back to oreegun!! Oh and you gotta take tate with ya!!! So what's worse do ya think...havin' a hole in the oil pan or have tate ridin' shotgun???
I'm bettin' my Dad's also a little worried about the company I'm keepin'!!
alright here we go. These are in chronological order. Pullin the tractor like that probably wasn't one of my best decisions, especially since it was only with a ball on a bumper but sometimes you gotta do wacha gotta do!
-how it looked originally. I added the dents in high school.
-after fillin' it full of bondo and black paint in hs body shop. I was really pround of that but it looked like hell.
-where it lived for about 10 years. The slab helped but the body mounts, inner and outer rockers were toast.
-after d&c SOA
-"new" doors
-major surgery by chris keck in penrose, co just west of pueblo. Great guy. Not much wasn't replaced.
-after what seemed like about 5000 hours of sanding. Almost ready for paint.
-new paint. It's hard to describe how I felt the first time I seen it.
-drove all summer with the top off. Gotta get a roll bar.
-bringin' the Ford 860 home (also was my Dad's), only to find out the head gasket was toast!
