The fuels not bad but if you continue to log in the 100map column I would look to richen it some.

Your log was only the sensors data. Need to check the other boxes.

Yor charging system is also weak at idle.
You need to check out the madelectrical site for tips on improving it.

Working on charging system, but also posting injector size chart. Still looking for some 5.7 injectors.

Edit.. Found some :) but will get a data run with what I have first.

Why? Your fuel looks pretty good. If you change injectors you'll have to tune fuel all over again.

it seems a lot more responsive with the timing bump "

Lots of potential from the motor if the timing is tuned correctly. Imo, ECM controlled timing is a must have with FI.

Thanks, I noticed the numbers looked good too. I just need buy and install the id10t light and my alternator, start'em up kit, amp meter bypass will be basiclly done, some wire cleanup/loom installation and I'm back on the road.

Ok got some number after changing the alternator wiring system. Should have al the info this time :)

Your a little lean at 100map and the min idle ould be backed off just a little but you still have the stock 575 idle speed so you can just leave it for now.

Voltage looks good!

Thanks bill. I only hit the 100map for a second or two just have a number there, cost to much to be in that range anyways :icon_neutral:

as for mileage, not like I'm driving a fiat or something, is the setup ok? Going to hollister I got around 10 mpg, was hoping to get closer to 12. I will do a mpg check and see were I'm at now with the timing bump. I know being so tall and wide does not help either:smilewinkgrin:

Re: New 345 SV engine data log 6,000-8,000 feet

Bill here is my lastest data. I took this while going up hwy 88 starting at 6,000 and up 8,000 feet. I also bump the timing to 8 btdc.

Took the girls on a trip up to deer valley trail

Your a little Rich up high but that's to be expected some since your climbing in altitude.

The rest doesn't look bad.

Dang your up early for a Sunday.
Thanks for looking, it's running good when I down shifted to 2nd on some hill climbs. I talked with Jeff and he said 3,000 rpm is not to much for this engine.

I take mine up to 4000 all the time and will even hold it there when pulling grades and towing. It will see 3600 rpm for miles at a time.

I thought I read somewhere that you were being deployed out to the middle east for a bit. I was hoping to finally meet you this summer at the Binder Bee.

Is your rig with you or did you leave it back in the states?

Hot enough out there for you:gringrin: .
