High Schoolers Budget Custom Scout II Build

I've gone through a couple versions. The original version just went under the bell housing and was too low. Currently, I removed the inspection cover of the bell housing and made a recessed heat shield and ran the pipe through the slot in the bell housing. It's been a few years with no issues.
Can you post a picture what you made for a heat shield. I have some ideas but would like to see what you did. Yours looks very nice and tidy!

It is kind of hard to see, but here you go. I still hit it with a rock at some point, so you see the reason for tucking it up.

My man! Thanks! This is what i have roughly mocked up. Literally going off of what you did. Im thinking something very similar for the heat shield. I appreciate it

That looks good. Instead of the v-band, I'd do a flex coupler and same on the driver side. It will help a lot. I'd also move the passenger pipe further away from the transmission.

Yes! I'm doing a flex coupler where it goes into the Y pipe to allow for engine vibrations etc. The Vbands you see are to adapt the 2.25 to 2.5 tubing. Going to be pushing it away from the transmission as far as I reasonably can.
