Data logging run

when I try to open it, it says it's a bin file and that it's part of a program.

Doh!!!
Homer...

Here's the right file.

If you are going through afi then I will refrain from giving any more of my personal inputs and let you finish with them.

I do not want in the middle of a vendor and customer.

by your comment I'm guessing we made a mistake...

As I said earlier bill you are welcome to help Mike tune his chip if he wants you too, when your done I will forward the bin and have it burned and sent to Mike to save you the trouble. Your help and knowledge is well appreciated in the IH world with the diy and afi customers.

Mike already sent the first data file to me and I forwarded it, I do not know what happened after that. The customer has to follow up with tech support. As long as he is taken care of I don't care, I just don't want to leave him hanging. :yesnod:

Mark,

as I posted earlier Mike is one of my best friends. We're just trying to get him a more finely tuned chip - whether thru afi or me. No complaints about afi - we've decided to tune this ourselves. To me it really doesn't matter who burns the chip as we have the capabilities to burn chips. Mike is local to me so its easier to deal with this then wait a week or two at a time to receive a freshly burned chip. I've asked bill to look into mikes data as well as ldo_marlin who does my chip burning. Mike sent you/afi his data just so you also could see whats happening. Its obvious from the data that Mike needs to clear all codes and log more data before another chip can be burned. So no hard feelings toward afi. If we need afi's assistance on this matter any further I or Mike will let you guys know.

Do happen to know which inj's?

I'm really leaning towards starting over on the bin!!

Looking at the bin I noticed the bpw was 150.
And the ae was pretty high.
If it is a bbc tb the motor will be flooded.

Don't know what injectors. Rocktractor will have to check the numbers on the injectors. Holley tbs have 2" bores and with the cop car injectors will probably work better than the bb injectors in this setup.

Ok try this one and see if it runs....

Make sure the other checks I already posted get done also.

ok it worked.

I was able to copy the data and convert it.
A few notes...
1. You left the raw data box checked!!! Turn it off.
2. You have errors that need to be cleared. Looks like you disconnected the map sensor when the motor was running. The error is still there.
3. Na
4. You had a glitch right in the middle of the run. It's at 2145 in the data. When it did the data reset and your blm actually started working. You were stuck at 123 which was not bad but after the glitch you went pig Rich.
I assume you have black smoke(if you looked) or the plugs are black.

So you should unplug the ECM to reset it.
Check inlet and return fuel pressure
check your wiring connections. Nothing touching, no bare wires, good power and ground connections.
Then make sure you do the initial set up procedures.
Save the blm table and the data logging!!

Edit. Fixed bin est

I revised bill's bin by deleting the est 42 error flag. I burned you a new chip and mailed today. The latest bin is attached.

Log data with raw unchecked and save the blm table.

Fuel pressure is at 14psi. Installed the second chip and it's a world of difference:icon_up: .thanks bill and ld.

I'm gonna go threw and do the initial startup procedures again and log data as soon as I can hook up with Jeff or joshc:icon_cool:
