I enjoyed reading your posts regarding the cartertq rebuilds. I thought I had someone here locally that could rebuild mine but now after reading your posts I'm scared to death to let him just "have at it". Mine is from my 1981 dodge d250 truck, 360, 5.9. I have looked and looked for the serial number on the carb but I have never found it. Rear left base of the unit?? Anyways are you still rebuilding them? Whats your work load these days? How long might it take to get you to do it? How best to contact you? Feel free to email me here and I'll reply. If anyone else has any answers I'm all ears. I am a new member to this website first post. Truck is in great shape not abused 48,000 original miles. Carb looks to be in good shape but leaks, and very difficult to restart when hot. Cold starts are not an issue.
