Bought a 72 1110 this fall and just got it back from our local old school mechanic. Its got the 345 w/ dual exhuast and a three spd automatic tranny. Easy to say I love this truck but it doesn't love me back yet...it tends to stall when I put it in drive or slow down to make turns or stop signs. He set the timing, tuned it, and went over everything to make sure it can go down the road safe. Not sure why I'm having problems with it but I'm planning on going over it with him in the near future. I'm working on the cosmetics right now-I (somewhat) straightened the grill, I'm working on getting the right emblems on, fixing the side markers, and buffing the paint. I would like to put bigger rims & tires and maybe even lifting it to a reasonable height. Any tips, ideas, or solutions for a 17 year old with limited mechanical talent?
