69 Scout 800 Building-in-progress...questions

30 years ago I purchased my 69 International Scout that had a 2" body lift and a 2.5 " suspension lift, 196, 3-speed non-syncro, Dana 20 transfer, Dana 27 front and Dana 44 rear with 4.29 ratio. When I left for college to seek my fortune so I could finish the job I started, I left my poor Scout with a 345, t-98 4-speed with granny low, kept the Dana 20 transfer, Dana 30 front and Dana 44 rear with 3.73 ratio (out of a 67 v8 Scout). Now I live in wisconsin, have a little bit more money and more time to work on it.

Ok...so I have a 2" body lift po did with wood blocks with metal square channel stock and I would like to replace it with something more substantial and IH america does not sell 800 body lift kits.

I called to ask why and was told it's not a good idea. Well I would like to lower mine but my firewall is cut out to fit the 345. I just need something temporary.

got your work cut out for you.

But seriously.
The oem body mounts are available in the IHPA store as a full set. They go at the body locations. If you want more buy a set of 2" body lift blocks and longer bolts to do the rest.. Inly the front will need something wide to properly support the front clip.
