2009 Sierra Fall Rallye

Ed,

glad to hear things are better...hope you all got it figured out this go around and your daughter is back on the road for good! As Chad said, generally speaking fordice is not rig friendly even for a smaller Scout II. Also, as Chad said, rock tracktor is the trail boss so he has final word.

My experience is ""the doors are broken , the quarters are smashed the fenders are bent and the cheese is really trashed.

Yea, fordice had an impact and the rubicon too, probabaly not a good thing for that clean IH pu of yours.

Regardless... Look forward to the ralley!

is there parts I can run my pickup through without fear of tearing it up too bad. It is a long wheel base for some trails and rocks if so I will be glad to tag along. My daughter's health has been doing much better and she would love to do some tougher trails thanks ed

Fordyce would peal your truck apart. If this was a couple day trip, I would not object to you taking your truck. But for this run, rigs need to be trail capable.

Hopeing to make fordice this year, we will be open diff & no roll cage tho what do you think tractor? Also will any one be at lake francis Thursday?

Stacy...your truck is not quite ready for fordyce. Go on the trail ride instead. You'll have more fun.
Dave and I will leave thurs morning.

I think with the SOA, 33's and get that winch on there, and no fear of body damage you can make it.

Edit: with more thought into this. You should go to hh and run the bitch trail. If you can run that and feel comfortable, then I think you are ready. If not then you need to run it when you've got a couple days to do it.

If you want to hook up one weekend down in hh, let me know and we'll work something out.

Sounds good just gotta get my rigs back on the road :mad2:

Hey guys, was just wanting to check in and see if you wanted help on a good local run still for the ralley... Im all for showing you some trails before the event! I still say we should all do a run to laporte, then back roads to downieville thru holland flat and poker flat, its a good loop... Id say half day run if you get a good start.

Reservations made with lake francis resort and registration mailed to Mike yesterday. I already have the vacation time scheduled.

Looks like we are going to be there this year. Can't wait.

good news lyle. Besides, we need someone to keep an eye on mm.

Keeping an eye on mm is my job at the Binder Bee. I will leave it up to the IHSFR staff to keep him corraled. I plan on just enjoying the show. I could possibly be talked into helping with Sunday breakfast.......................

Looking forward to it,

lyle

………ahhh, the Sunday morning munchies welcomes your assistance.

Fair enough with mm. I need one favor…….making sure mm wakes up.

I am going to try and make it for my first time this year...maybe... The 800 will be done but we'll see if I can afford driveshafts between now and then :mad2: :mad2: any one have spare cv flanges for a d300? Maybe a 1350 yoke for a d44?
On a side note will anyone be going to the nor. Cal. Homebrew festival, also at lake francis on sept. 18-19? Our homebrew club here goes every year. Ahh beer, scouts and a nice lake:icon_up:
I saw that you are getting a headcount for fordyce, is there a latest time to get in on this?
