That's a Scout Terra. Same as the Scout Traveler, just with a cab top and bulkhead in place of the full travel top and rear seat, rendering it a unibody pickup in essence.

It really isn't the best idea to attempt cranking an engine that's been sitting non-rotated for any great length of time. Cam bearings can be easily wiped or even spun in their bores by doing so. Long dormant engines should be revived in a cautious and painstaking manner. In a nutshell, the process involves removing the distributor so that a slotted tool that will engage the oil pump drive shaft can be chucked into a power drill. This allows one to spin the oil pump and force oil up to the top end of the engine with no dry cranking involved. It's a method known as "pre-priming" the lubrication system.
