What's the weather like in your area?

Just got back from a 15 minute bike ride from good ol' osu campus and all I can say is it is f'n cold! The lack of gloves and major windchill sure did make getting into the house nice! Damn late finals.... Current temp of 24* and falling.... All I can say is I can hear the "CA ching" of money every time the heat kicks on... Since California seems to be getting all the snow... Lucky bastids, my wheeling plans for this weekend are probably shot!:dita: so, what's the temp/weather like in your area? Stay warm!:cornut:

Newberg is about 24 degrees right now.

It was 20 degrees this morning when I woke up and on the drive to work I saw a low of 16 degrees!

It was freakin' cold outside trying to survey today...

I did talk to my Dad who lives just outside of san fransisco - they had snow on the ground this morning! :icon_rotate:

I do think we should get used to this though. Hotter summers and colder winters.

Come to nebraska!!! We are in a 24 hour blizzard warning right now. It should end about noon tomorrow, leaving about 6 to 10 inches of snow. It's also 9*f

Currently 27 in sweatsford. Got down to 15 overnight. All I know is, we've all got to do whatever we can to stop this rampant global warming immediately! I sleep cozier in my bed knowing that the obamalamadingdongs and owlgorz of this world are making it so. Brrr. 'til then it's time to crank the t-stat up another notch.

Saw 18* on my computer at 8:30 this morning in clackamas. It's 25* now in oregon city heading for the low teens. Fortunately the wind has backed off.

Sounds like Saturday could be messy................

Got 2' of snow on Monday.......then it rained, was 16* this morning and only got to 30* today. Got home tonight and fired up the blower and cleaned the driveway up. Sposed to snow more Thursday night through Saturday off and on.......I hate winter!

It was 6 at our place this morning.

Normally I walk to work but pansied out when it hit 0

I wish it would warm up and dump some snow.

It was 11* this morning at 5:30 am when I went to take two 10 gallon canisters of hot water to the cow's trough. Suckers frozen solid all the way through. Time to buy a deicer.

The thing is, I never had this problem before. The trough is deep enough that it never freezes solid all the way through and we usually have a little warm spell during the days that keeps the broken ice thickness down.

The thermo said -2 (yes 2 below zero) this morning when I went out to start my Scout to go to work. We got about 10-12" of snow. Its 5* now and sunshine. Temp makes it a real bear convincing the old girl to start. She does a little bit a grumbling :incazzato: .

Hahah well....its about 55 or 60 right now. Patially cloudy, mostly sunny with a slight breeze and a slight chance of showers tonight...

Sorry guys had to rub that one in. We did get an inch or so of rain on Monday!!

D

It hasn't been over 20* at night here for almost two weeks. The last two nights it has been down to 3*. It never got above freezing yesterday and today a little before 1:00 pm it has yet to get to 30*.

Thankfully the wind has not been blowing.

All I can say is brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

High today of 0*f - calling for temps around -25 for the weekend - just like last weekend, spent all day Sunday shovelling snow - my driveway was buried with 30 - 60 inches of snow. Thank goodness we don't normally get wet, heavy snow.

Got up to 36* today, enough to melt most of the driveway down to the asphalt. Was warmer this morning.....21*, sposed to "maybe" be rain this next go around, it would be nice. Need to do some more work on the Scout before its the dd.

22* right now. Probably won't get above freezing yet tomorrow. The weekend still sounds like it might be interesting. Forcasts are for the mid 40s next week.

It's -4 at my place right now. First time it's been that cold since I've been here. Last year, December what the second snowiest on record. This year, I wonder if it will be one of the coldest on record? :confused5:

last night I had to drive to hermiston and back, and it was -10 as I rolled through baker city! (both ways) :yikes: strangely, it was only -4 in the meacham, which is much higher in elevation. :confused5:

it makes you grateful that we're having all this global warming. Otherwise it would be -70. That is if we apply the government's version of "new math".

Ummm. :icon_rolleyes: you don't see the connection between the coldest winter ever and the second snowiest winter ever and an increase in ocean temps? That is called global warming. Regardless of the cause; humans, natural cyclical cycles of the earth, martians, etc., as the oceans geat warmer we will see more extremes in the summer and winter. 'global warming' doesn't just mean it is going to get hotter - so be sure and stock up on jackets/blankets when you are buying that ac unit for the summer.
