Wrenchin' Doin's March 28

geeze, you've obviously misunderstood what "that" look means.
Those cold female looks always mean full approval. Hands on the hips and foul language reinforce, the message of approval also.
It's strange but that's how it works.

I wonder how long this has been going on? Perhaps you should seek help? I can coach you sometime.

So I took your advice and I brought this topic back up with momma. Are you sure that's what that look means? She said I must be stupid to bring it up again.:icon_eek: is it a good thing when the wife's head spins completely around?

I don't know t, the signals I am getting don't sound like "the message of approval". :nono: I am still gonna have to sit this one out.

How long you been married? I guess mayben and I will have to come over and coach you some.
I can see the underlying message here is " sure honey go ahead and go".
You need to learn to read between the lines:gringrin:

Do you forget that she is pregnant.:icon_eh: all the normal rules do not apply just now. I have to think that you know this already and are just trying to get me in trouble.:dita:

That's why momma's haid is onna swivel...it'll tighten back up about 60 days after litter drop. Me an' t know all about tha swivelhaid syndrome...that's part of not keepin' tha hangeedown parts zipped up at the appropriate time.

I mean hail...ya been through all this how many times before????

She'll come back ta normal and wanna git pink upside down agin 'long about end of May.

So if ya gotta webcam, we can beam ya a broadcast of the March 28 shindig???

As much as I would like to hang around a bunch of 'binder heads telling lies, a four hour drive one way is just not in the budget--not for gas or for time.

I won't be missing the bee this year unless...

Have fun all of you!

Thinking about attending.

I am "ferrying" my wife to a workshop in the portland area this weekend.

What do I need to pickup "foodwise" if I decide to attend?

Have not decided if I will "run" my t/a or not...

I will let you know for sure closer to "event time".

Not trying to cause trouble, just trying to help:gringrin:

sooo, anyone else stupid, er I mean adventurous enough to ride with me from newberg to the u of IH in a plastic chebby?

I would say you could stop by an pick me up! But I'm gonna be an early rizer and already at Maybens.:nono: gonna be puttin in new cam, main, and connecting rod bearings, new pistons, gaskets, and maybe a different cam from a donor 152. Maybe this way I can be closer to keepin up with your hella light zippidoo car. but I doubt it!:dita: just hopin I can finally have a quiet and leak free IH motor! If there ever existed such a thing!:winky:

My chebby is just old nuff to still be more metal than plastic lol. I still plan to be there, with my iron chebby.

Sorry I overlooked this Robert!

Dam it'd be nice to have yawl on the place! Any kinda deezert ya kin pick up at 7-11 on the way is jes' fine...keep it simple!

Should we assume yawl will wanna bunk here too??

Hi, michael,

thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the offer, but you do not need to keep bunk space open for me.

Plans are not firm, but if I make it down to your place, I will probably just drive back to the portland area sat eve.

Thanks, Robert

Gotcha!

Greg foster is coming down I believe from the portland metro area, along with lyle wiese if he's up and around after a medical procedure preceding the event. I'm sure they would like to meet up with ya and yawl truckpool??? They both got nice stuff that runs and will make it back home in the same day!

May be some others from stumptown comin' down also so stay and touch and we can arrange a ride for ya if ya want.

I was planning to drive -- how else can you "pick" on my t/a?

looking at the (wife's) "info", I am going to be "around" troutdale (e of portland on the columbia river) -- which means - i84 w to i205 s to i5 -- at least for me.

I need to back the t/a out of the garage in the sunlight and check it out (been raining until a couple days ago and I am getting over a bad cold - plus I am a certified procrastinator...:winky: ). The gasket on the master cylinder was "weeping" and I could not find just the gasket. So, maybe I should have the master cylinder replaced.

Hadn't thought about "trukpoul" -- I usually put the back seat down and put a 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back. I could leave it out if you want me to pick up people -- if the people are willing...

I regret to say I have to cancel my appearance at this very educational event.
A recent turn of events has made my weekend schedule overfull.
Maybe next time!

Looking like maybee 15 folks at least. Bringa chair!

And it would help if sumbody's got rigs what run and can winch, the parking lot filled up Friday and yawl May have ta winch yore way to the shophouse.

That was the baby cottonwood, a hunnert footer. It's momma wuz rotten through the core, but she went to tha river...big ol' gal at hunertfiftyfive foot. Any body wants 'em can take 'em both home.
