Work day/Walnut Creek/Swap/May 14

Stacys Dad Joe hear ,,,, I would like to get a idea of what typ of projects youall May have for me . I plan on heading to sac right from the work day ,so I would like to pack light. Hopeing the shop has a 120 + amp welder we can use.
Thanks Joe

looking forward to it.

Was wondering if anybody would be willing to lend me a hand in installing new gears and an aussie locker in my front d44. I can do the dirty work, but want to make sure it's done perfect to the right tolerances and don't have any experience. Many beers, appreciation, and your pick of my spare parts if you have the tools and the know how to help!

Pm sent.

Cliff's shop is pretty much fully loaded with tools, power, anything a fab shop will need.

However, he did loan out his bender to a friend.
I'll bring mine w/1.75" die.

He has a mig w/gas, I'm not sure if it's 110 or 220.
There is also 220 round pattern & pig tails.

Things that people should bring:
as many of the tools as possible that you'll need
jacks/stands
consumables-flap discs, cut off wheels, etc. Etc.

Any parts that you will need (please contact IH only for these)

I will try to make it. This will be the farthest expedition ever for the Scout.

I wouldn't mind reinforcing the mounts on the rear of my front springs. Also, could use some advice on remedying the lean I see to have.

• bring your own meats and sauces to bbq – but there will still be some hot dogs grilled up.
• bbq will be kept hot for 2-3 hours.
• should be a few side dishes
• byodrink.
• there will be some munchies

I will be bringing a 392 block and heads, heads removed. Quickly looking at it, it seems to be good for a rebuild. If anyone is in need of a project it is yours.

P.s. It is out of a 72? Travelall. No saddle mounts.

Yo justin between my blown 392 and yours I May be able to make one good boat anchor :icon_idea: ill make room I oh I still have the dealer install ac unit

Have a good one tomorrow fellas. I wasnt able to get my power steering gear box back in because its been a total pain trying to get the input shaft seal in (I have gone through 3 sets of seals trying) so I will hopefully be at home trying to work it out in the afternoon after I get done with work. Hope I can make the next one. Im sure this event will be a success for many.
