wiring help

I am restoring a 1973 Scout II automatic with 345 4 wheel drive. I tried to take lots of pictures and lots of notes but I can't figure this one out.
I have the main rear wiring harness for tail/brake lights with bulbs and all
It has a 6 male blade connector (4 in a horizontal row and 2 off to the side) in a plastic connector on the front end that connects to something in the engine bay but for the life of me I can't find where it goes. Since I have taken everything off (switched tubs) I made have something hidden away that I can't see that needs to go into the engine bay or in my old age i just can't see it

here it is

If you can make out any of the white circuit ID numbers on any of those wires, it would help to home in on where that connector goes. Those terminals look pretty grungy too. They could use some quick touch up with a Dremel bit.

63A 36 57 56 LOOKS LIKE 11U (THE SECOND 1 COULD BE SOME OTHER NUMBER HARD TO TELL)
the harness is for the rear light and fuel sending unit

I am on the clean up. I have my Dremel and electronic contact spray at hand.
I already done one harness and I hadn't got to this one yet too puzzled about where it goes

a little more background, I have a trailer harness and currently attaches to the ten pin firewall connector
i am going to un-tape it and see if it has any splices in it i am thinking someone has tinkered with it

i have 2 other harness, one the front light and I know where that connector goes
and the other harness is the engine and i know where that goes

here is a new cleaned up pic including a brace which was how it was attached somewhere near engine since it was full of old oil
it did not go through the firewall
probably on the inner fender or maybe chassis I do not have a picture of it so i am not where it was

that is exactly what I was thinking but since I took everything off the chassis I am missing something
I was hoping with 1973 might have a pic of what it looks like and where is located
I am going to re-organize all my bits and parts and see if I can't find my missing link

I have all my wiring harnesses laying on the driveway laid out like they would in the tub/chassis (dash, engine, front light, rear lights and trailer)
I have connections to everything but this six bladed connector to the rear light harness

i have done some research on binderplanet but can't find anything that helps

had to be, the tail lights worked. Although I think you might be right, they looked like they hadn't been plugged in for a while
and that may be true I started this project 2 years ago and it took awhile to get everything off
I assume I disconnected it from that was obvious and we know what assuming makes me

the other thing I don't understand is the one of the two 10 pin firewall connectors
one is for the engine bay which I can figure out
the other one I think goes to the tail light harness but it is basically the trailer wire harness could have been factory?
if so then the same question, where does the 6 blade connector that I have plug into?

so I figured it out and yes, it was only my own stupidity! ( is this some sort of Scout law like Murphy's law where is always something stupid if you can't figure it out yourself?) I was afraid when I 1st posted that I was missing something obvious and yes I was.
I really appreciate the responses I got and that there are guys out there that care and didn't beat me up. I will now beat myself up and fess up to my sins. the 5th wiring harness with the 6 bladed connector was from the new 1980 tub that I purchased. I believe that 6 bladed firewall connector was used 1976-80. I had pulled it out and saved it ( you don't ever throw anything Scout away) and promptly forgot I how I got it. it explains why I didn't have any pictures. I finally saw the errors of my way when I was trying to figure out the tail light sockets on my 5th harness when I looked at my original tail light housing (tucked away in a box with cob webs all over it) and saw my original sockets where still attached prompting the BIG question of where did the harness with "different" sockets attached to it come from? And then my foggy memory kicked in and I remembered the harness came with the new tub. I hope I can be forgiven because I suspect I will have a few more questions before this is all over. if it wasn't so dumb, this is actually a pretty good Scout horror story.
