Windshield Frame to Travel Top Seal Question

Hi All,

I have just a quick question regarding if there are two travel top seals to windshield frame. I did not see any others in the parts manual. I already have the one installed that goes on the top of the windshield frame. Is there another that would go between the bottom of the front travel top and top of the windshield frame that the 4 bolts/screws pass thru? I would thing there would be some type of thin seal or something so you would not have metal on metal when you tighten it down. I took a lot of pictures when I dismatled the Scout almost 5-years ago. I can not find a picture that shows that image. I just dont recall if there is a seal that would get sandwiched between the travel top and windshield frame where the 4 screws/bolts pass thru. Hopefully I'm installing the travel top this weekend. I'm trying to avoid any hick ups. Thanks for the info.

Should be a thin piece of foam there.

Would the foam piece just go on the narrow piece that the screws pass thru or do I need to cover that whole exposed area. How thick of a piece would you suggest?

Camper tape is what I use on mine. It's 1" wide gray foam weather strip and a common hardware store item.

You don't have to cover the whole thing, but one piece going across the top and going over the four holes.
