I spent Saturday wheeling in the snow above scotts mills. I took my son and his buddy and both their girlfriends. They were both wheeling off brand full-size trucks. Kole in the dodge had 35s and his buddy had 38s but both sets were smooth. So I broke trail the entire way up and still spent a lot of my day watching them work shovels… it had warmed up and the snow was very wet and heavy. Not near as much fun as last week.
Here I am playing in a snowy mud hole on the way up.

Looks like my kinda fun, only where's the big ditch and twisted metal? I'm suddenly addicted to carnage and lots of it. On that note, I got my busted windshield frame and munched up fender removed from hooty. He looks kinda pathetic and down-in-the-mouth now. It's a necessary part of the rebuilding process, I guess.

Hey I parted out a 1976 2wd terra today. It had a good windshield in it. Are you still looking for one?

Looks like kole's girlfriend was wearing a john deere hat. I think I remember kole telling me once that her family was into them. It must be hard having your son date someone from the wrong side of the tracks. :dita:

Well, I got my 4spd in the Scout with a whole lot of effort, the slave cylinder braket made up for the 4spd, front Dana 44 in, and some crossmember mounts done. Had something fall into my eye yesterday that required an eye doctors appointment this morning. That little bugger wouldn't come out on it's own accord! Just a quick swipe of a very small needle and some eye drops was all I needed! Gonna be cutting some more after work.:dita: man that 4spd takes up alota space!

Yeah, 80's were never meant to have 4 speeds. That crossmember go in ok?

Haven't gotten quite that far yet, as I still need to get the floors cut enough so the trans is in the right spot. The crossmember barely fits w/ about a 1/32 of an inch to spare. Are the transfer case yokes supposed to be parallel to the frame rails? Idk on how the tunnel cover is going to go on there? If I didn't have to have a warn overdrive, pto adapter, and pto, then it would only be difficult instead of $#%*&* dificult!:dita: more cutting! Oh, and won't be able to put in the axles that you fabbed up for me dan :icon_mad: as I need to acquire the Bronco dual mc, proportioning valve, and new hardlines first! Still gonna be rollin on 31's!:icon_eek:
