I am trying to find out what kind and year of IH backhoe I bought. Can anyone help me, please.
The plate on the passenger side frame has this number #2740150U001543. It also has I3500D-A.

I suggest looking for IH AG/heavy equipment enthusiast tech forums to see if they might be able to shed some light. Being that it's a piece of equipment and not a passenger vehicle, the ID number doesn't conform to highway vehicle VIN standards. This forum caters to IH light duty vehicles such as pickups and Scouts. AG/heavy equipment is well out of the bailiwick.
