Troubleshooting Horn

I found the relay on the driver’s side of the steering column under the dash, all the way back against the firewall. The 3-pin connector was DISCONNECTED!!!!! Horn is blowing beautifully now. Really a terrific sound. Thank you all for your help
 
It fires 100% of the time when the truck is off, but maybe 10% of the time while it’s running? I’m going to call it a quirk and leave it
 
Well that's good-ish. Vibration from the running engine affecting the ground somewhere maybe. The horn itself has to be well grounded. You might give it and it's terminals a close inspection/cleaning.
