The Lords of IH

When I purchased my first Scout I new absolutely nothing about it. I spent the next several years tinkering and researching, but it wasn't until I actually started networking within the IHSTO that I finally started to get the help and answers I needed.

I would like to recognize a few individuals who have gone out of there way to help me over the last few years. They are what I would like to call "the lords of IH"

Mike mayben

terry davidson

Mike roth

these individuals are always willing to help out a fellow binder enthusiast. They have always gone way out of there way to help me and I appreciate all the help and knowledge they have shared. You guys are true examples of what the IHSTO is all about.

I am currently learning about my first Scout. I recently joined the IHSTO. I haven’t met any other members yet, but already mm has been very helpful with advice on getting my 80 moving again. I hope I can get to the June IHSTO meeting. I have posted a thread on bp about my Scout- richard’s 80 camper restoration.

Thanks to the lords of IH!

Terry shoulda stayed for din-din, and too bad mikesquared didn't show at all!!!! That was sum kinda smokin' operation dude!! I'll never smoke dead animals agin, monte is now the bbq king "west of I-5"!

Guess this means pink started ok today and is still lightin' tires up???

Well no one told me! You know a skinny young lad such as myself would never pass up a good meal!:ciappa: I have to agree with what monte said, as help has always been there when I needed it!

I am still a rookie when it comes to bbq.

Pink is now sporting a high torque starter from a later model dodge, the 1994-2001 starters are half the size and have more torque. Engine temp. Hit 210* and the starter cranked over just fine.

I roasted more tires today, the dial in process was a success.

thank you!

Yes indeed! Here's to the lards of IH...oh wait, that's just another acronym for the fat white boys. In all seriousness, my growth over the last year as an apprentice wrench turner on this rotten junk can be attributed in large part to the mentoring I've received from the carb king. Now we've dun gone and given him an overinflated cranium.

Mike roth has indeed done it again... He made me a smokin' deal on these...

These guys have forgot more than I will ever be able to learn, we sure are blessed out here in orygun.
