Temp sender

Had my transmission rebuilt. During this I was going to move my sender to the "stock location". The sender came with my stewart werner gauge. Is this going to be too long. Do I have to worry about any interference with the internals.

Good pic. Thanks. Not having an original design sender to compare against your aftermarket one, I can't tell you whether or not installation in this location would create any clearance issues. The hole does penetrate the rear servo bore, but it has its own, recessed bore. All I can do is refer you back to the last sentence in the thread you linked where mayben stated that aftermarket senders are typically installed in one side or the other of the fluid drain pan. That would be your safest bet, I think. Perhaps someone who has successfully installed one in that rear test port location will chime in and give you the green light, or you could just experiment, but I am clearly not advocating that.
