Craig Active member Aug 25, 2010 #2 About a 1/2" thick and the bar was about 3" wide and bolted between the front shackles. The bar is spring steel, so a piece of 1010 won't work. Attachments TorsionSwayBarRateCalculator.xls 222.5 KB · Views: 359

Ihon has a large stock of used Scout II front "sway" bars along with inner shackle plates for mounting. And new bomb-proof extended shackles are in stock also complete with mounting tabs also.
