Ok I'm swapping in an original 19 gal fuel tank and skid plate on my 74 Scout 2.
My question is, are the straps supposed to have some kind of pad to prevent rub through on the tank, and if im gonna mount the skid plate, do I use the j-bolts or just regular bolts.
If I have to use the j-bolts, where can I get 2 of these ? Had a set but you know how that goes.
I'll be calling Monday to order a sending unit, it would be good to get the j-bolts too if they are available. Thanks for the info
