Location: tillamook state forest

meeting place: gales creek shell gas station at 9:00 am
enter: "55870 northwest wilson river highway, gales creek" into: google maps

Date: Saturday April 17th

rig requirements: a mechanically sound rig with working 4 wheel drive. A spair tire is encouraged.

We will be running mostly easy with a few moderate trails. I cant guarantee no body damage, but I couldn't do that even if you parked in a parking lot. With moderate driving skills a stock Scout should have no problem on all the trails and no damage should occur. We will have radios and winches/ recovery gear in a few rigs along with a few trailers just in-case something does happen, nobody gets left behind.

Looking forward to getting a few binders on the trail that wouldn't normally be out there! Post up if your in!

Dude! No one is signing up for this! Looks like there May not be enough in attendance to make this worth while, huh?:icon_sad: think I heard monty say it conflicted with some other club function but I din't really understand?

Im not worried about it, I know of at least one other rig that will be there other than the few that have posted.

And either way alex, even if its your rig and mine well go tear it up! :cornut:

Might get a little squeezy, but I know of a few full size guys who wheel there regularlly. I bet you'll be fine.

66 1/2 ton Travelall and pickup friendly?

I ended up trading "roth&roth conglomerated" my 800 for a nicly set up 73' scoutii, so it should be alot easier for me to be confident about getting there and back now. Can't wait for you guys to check it out! It's a freakin world of differance with power steering and brakes, not to mention totally cumfy interior. So now we're just scrambling to get jon's t-all squared away. We put in a new alternator, are replacing an exhaust manifold:icon_xd: and some interior parts. And also some suspension components, but he is almost there, man! We got it running and driving pretty sweet. It's gonna be a trail thrasher, fow show:yikes:

I am gonna try to get there. I have never been to any meetings or runs but I have been watching and I am ready. I have not had a good trailride in years but the old Scout is always ready to run. Nothing like a good ok tractor. Fires and purrs everytime. Looking forward to meeting some new Scout friends! I own a boat dealership here in portland so I cant guarantee I will be there but I am going to try my best. I will reconfirm by the end of the week if I am in or not.
