Stainless Steel side trim removal

Please help I have spent an hour trying to get the ss Z shaped trim off the side of my 60/61 B102, I can see there is a spring looking clip behind it, I got one out at the rear, but it took way too much force, is there an easier way to do it??

Get on the inside of the sheet metal with some pliars and squeeze the tabs in to release the tension.

I will have to get some real skinny pliers, it doesn't like to pull out much!!

I don't think you quite understood me. Get under the rig where you can see the backside of the hole that the clip is protruding through.

Oh i gotcha, the backside of the actual clip. I will try that tonight.

It looks like the trim is pushed to one side while the other is lifted. But if you can access the back that might be safer.
