Side Marker Blinker

I was thinking it would be kind of nice to have my side markers flash with my turn signals. Has anyone done that?
 
This very topic has been discussed recently over at the bp. From what I gather, it is doable with the usage of some relays and creative wire routing etc, but it is far from being as simple as splicing a wire here and there. The side markers are single filament bulbs, and the front ts/park bulbs are dual filament, so there is a grounding issue to overcome when a ts is active at the same time that the head or park lights are active.
 
I wonder if there's a dual filament bulb in that size and then you could just match the wires to the turn signal bulb.

Or what if it were wired in where it would go off when the turn cuts on (or off). So it would be on all the time but cycle off to the turn signal.
