I have a 4" Skyjacker with rancho rs5000, I am not a fan of these shocks and they ride rough. I'd like to get the kyb gas-a-just for it but they don't sell it in the 4" lifted form. I know that they actually probably make a shock that would work but it just is not labeled a 4" lift shock for the Scout, maybe it is the stock Ford ranger shock or something. Anyone done this before? Since I am mostly on the street I'd like to run a shock with a better street ride.
 
I've got rancho rs9000s on my 69 Bronco and they're pretty nice. 9 adjustable settings on them. A cheaper option than the Bilstein route but if you can swing the bilsteins, they're the way to go.
