That guy was talking smack in the pits just before the run too. I had a hard time getting the rpms up enough to get a good hole shot. I ended up leaving slow and running people down. Which only worked for so long. Here is the vid that chris is talking about. This was my first run of the day..:p

This years drags sucked in so many ways, 8 roll overs, a vehicle careening into the crowd, mass disorganization. The mud drags are supposed to be about pits full of water and mud, not slippery loose dirt and four inches of water. These vehicles should not be able to reach speeds where you need 150 feet to shut down. I prefer the deep, rutted mud pit.

That said, my driving skills are definately in question. :crazy: thank god for the cage. There was minimal damage and we will be ready to go again on June 27.

Mike thanks for the videos. Our videos turned out a bit rough, nobody knew how to operate the new video camera. Also, thanks for letting me ride along. I think uber could be very competitive if you could just get the rpm's up before you launch.

Yesterday was not a complete waste. I got a trophy for the best roll over and an envelope full of cash. It turns out that rolling your rig pays the same as first place.

Witch wun uh yawl won the trofee fer havin' the purdiest mouth? Good show guys. You represented the binder community well, especially pink for coming back and winning the next race. Shudda had the 3rd race too. Prolly wudda had momma been at the controls.:icon_lol:

We had a fuckin' blast! Kathy ain't never seen so many folks "just like me" in one place in her life! She wuz skeerid shitless until monte rolled, then she rolled on the ground laffin'!

Pink's jes' pumpin' too many ponies...bitch needs a restrictor plate ta keep her straight, or at least a real womintype drivin'!

Guud thang the sheridan pit crew has them bodywork skills, all they need is two comealongs, a hilift jack and a telephone pole to anchor from and they'll have pink's azz straightened right up! That's a sheridan-style frame machine and portapower.

We finally had ta give up and go feed dawgs before mikeesquare got ta run. We figgerd they'd be finishin' up under headlights anyway or them fireboys would have to run over and git them emergency highwatt lights and set 'em up.

If you go back and compare the videos, you will see that monte was just tryin to out do me, where I landed with him in the mud, he landed on all three's. Maybe I planned that??
Though my hat is off to him for gettin right back in there!
It was great to see you all there and I am glad that you all had fun the red neck way.

Pink's momma has now spoken!!!

I can't believe the boys got that tire re-mounted and made it back into the line in time!!! And they did it with two crowbars and blowin' the tire up with their moufs!!!! Monte must practice manual tire inflation at home in the garage???? And he don't even remove the valve core??? That's what that other tire and rim standin' by the wall is for????

Wish I coulda gone in person, I posted over on the b planet for monte too. I been upside down in an armored humvee a couple of times an its enough to rattle ya even if you arent driving.


Kudos to monte comin back and stompin some ass :icon_scream:
 
Great vids all, thanks for the uploads. Looks like it was fun - with a stock dd I don't get to play with mud and big boy trucks very often.

I have a whole new level of respect for monte's pink binder! Glad you're both ok.
 
Hehe dont be fooled, that lil pink Scout has some testicular fortitude... Or should I say ovarian fortitude?
