scout motor swap

Never heard of it. 4.3 GM Vortec with matching automatic and 4x4 t-case has been done plenty. The biggest swapping issue with Ford drivetrain components is that everything is for driver side drop, but the Scout is passenger side drop. Ford stuff just isn't as popular for swapping into non-Ford vehicles as GM stuff is. Not saying it's right or fair. It's just reality.
 
oh i know, just hinking of being a bit diffent, pretty sure i can get an adapter to made the ford tranny to the IH tcase and keep it pass side drop
