Rubicon Run 2014

I never took the back seat out. :d I decide to just leave it.

I have some 1/4 spacers, but you need like 3/4"
those rims just have too much back spacing

I have seat belts for 5 people, but 3 seems to be about max as you start to run out of room for camping gear.

I'll have my front seat open as well. My other half is studying for a test, so she isn't going to make it. If you can't put enough washers on those lugs sean, the same offer from last year is available. The spare bedroom is still empty. It'll save your driving out here really early on Friday morning.

so what is the game plan?

Thanks for reminding me. We generally meet at the loon lake entry point Friday morning between 8:30-9:00am and then hit the trail by 9:30am. It is about a 2.5 hour drive for me, so I leave my house at about 6:00am. Those of us traveling from the sacramento area generally fill up at the gas station at fresh pond on 50. This is the last gas station on 50 before you hit ice house road. I'll be there about 7am. We hope to be at buck sometime that afternoon. Camp at buck Friday night, hang out in camp Saturday, then pack up on Sunday morning and head back out to loon.

Bummer on the motor issues. See you at the rallye.

Andy called and said he is going.:icon_mrgreen:

Guys, I just can't make it. I've been on the road the last 6 weekends. 5 of them on the con, cantina, wheelers for the wounded. So I'm broke,😜, and I need to spend some time at home. The following weekend I'm supposed to be a driver for a vip group that is being taken on the trail, unless I have to drive to san diego😳. And I was just down there 3 weeks ago.
Also the cleanup run is coming up, maybe see some of you at that.

Bummer! I May be out as well but not 100% sure at this point. Too much on my plate at the moment.

Sorry to hear that plug, Mike and maybe Jeff. I think Craig and michael are still in. I'm still going, and I believe sean too.

I'm going hell or highwater. I did not do the cantina or the other runs as I was busy.

But a couple relaxing days, that I'm looking forward too.

Jesse do you think we should leave at 6:30? My goal is to be at the eldorado hills ext off 50 by 7am

I'm swapping out the steel wheels tomorrow, so I'm in. It'll be ben's first "big" trip in the Scout and his first one on the rubicon, I wouldn't miss it.

Craig, you brining your port-a-fire?

Jesse, I have an extra set of ears for you.

Jesse, I have an extra set of ears for you.

I was going to leave my place at 6am, which would put me at the gas station at fresh pond at about 7am, and the loon lake trailhead at about 8:30am. If you want to leave at 6:30am, that'll put us in fresh pond at about 7:30, then the loon lake trailhead at about 9am. Fine with me if you prefer the later time.

Extra ears? Is it going to be that cold? Meh, I've been driving my Scout to work at 5:30am. It'll be colder up the hill, but not that much.

Ok check in time.

Andy and I will going. I talked with Matt and he is out.

I'm replacing my squeaky rear brakes at the moment since everything is packed.

I'm packed ready to go. Wife is coming with. :out:

I've talked to sean and he and his son are leaving sf tonight and then spending the night at my place.

What time are you and andy leaving your place?
