Here's a couple more pictures, one showing the sleeved rubber bushing and the other showing the angle iron and rubber bushings supporting the bottom. The angle iron could be wider, it's all we could find on short notice.
quick question, when you enlarged the holes to fit the hump on th bushing half, did you go off the center of the mount slot or measure the distances on the mount holes and center up that way. Im thinking of using a step bit to enlarge the holes and backing up the mount with a piece of wood to Mark the centers and guide the bit.
Interesting thought on that concept. But, kind of difficult to use that idea, like in my case. I'm currently using those two holes for both my X-cross brace and my front winch bumper. Next time you see my '72 yellow scout, you'll see.Hi Dan long time no see! I'm thinking if you installed a couple of those rubber standoffs in your picture on the tops of the holes in the gussets located at the front of the frame rails, then bolted a piece of flat stock across and above the brake line with some thin rubber on top of the flat stock to support the weight of the radiator, the supports you have pictured at the top of the radiator would probably be sufficient. I don't worry too much about my frame rails moving up front with that heavy 4 1/2" section of pipe the P.O. welded to my frame rails for a bumper.

Any time on the weekends, I'm fairly open to either one. During the week, it has been a little hectic for me to head down, due to my work scheduleWe should plan on getting together at The Smokin' Pig sometime in the near future. Or maybe we could meet up at Hollister some weekend.
