FDChappie Well-known member Sep 21, 2015 #2 Yes, replace t pcv valve and clean flame arrester on the valve cover with carb cleaner.

Scoutboy74 Moderator Sep 23, 2015 #4 If the problem persists with a clean and functional ventilation system, you're looking at a more serious condition. Search 'blow-by" resulting from worn or damaged piston rings and/or cylinder bores.
