New gauge install

I recently got new gauges for my 66 Scout 800. (old ones never worked). I'm curious, it has three different stud locations. Witch wire goes where?
Top left corner has the letter b
top right corner has the letter t
bottom middle has the 12v

No installation instructions? If the guage is available in auto parts stores, might ask if they can help with the wire connections. How many gauges are you working with?

The 12v is probably for the light, t is probably short for terminal and that would be the signal wire, b could be for black or ground wire. Thats where I would start and see if it works, chances are you would only have to switch t and b around if it didnt work.

Is the pictured instrument an ammeter or a voltmeter? It makes a difference. I would not just take the trial and error approach here. Those instruments contain a very small amount of smoke inside. Once you let that smoke escape, there's no putting it back in. Like toothpaste out of a tube.
