Need Right Fan Clutch...

I want to remove the flex fan that the po installed on my 345. I went to orileys today to pick up a fan clutch and what they gave me dont fit. The mounting flange wont fit through the hole on my fan blade.

The fan blade hole is 2 3/8"

The flange is about 2 1/2"...too big for the hole(thats what she said)

Anybody have a part number on the right clutch?

The fan clutch you bought is correct for the application as it is the exact same one that we sell. However it does use a different fan which we also sell.

Thanks for the sugestions guys.

What I ended up doing is using a rotary file on a straight grinder and reamrd tho hole open so that it would fit onto the clutch. Then I elongated the bolt holes.

Here are a couple pics of it installed. The second is with the motor running showing no wobbles.

Balance is highly critical in this part. Failure could be catastrophic and cause damage to the clutch, pump, radiator, shroud and hood. Not to mention leaving you stranded.

Yeah you are right. I was very careful about making sure I was very accurate in removing the necessary metal. This is not a piece that you want flying apart!
