Need dana 30 driver side axle shafts

Anyone have a spare, or know where to get a set (and part numbers) of driver side (long) axle shafts for a Dana 30 in the front a 75 Scout II with discs? Wasted my long inner at hollister. Can use the stub, but would rather use it for a spare - had to grind out some gouges in the saddles. The inner long shaft is ~ 31 1/8" long measured from the end of the splined end to the flat on the u-joint knuckle. 27 splines on both shafts. The u-joint cap diameters are ~1.062 and the u-joints when installed are ~ 3.255 across the caps.

Are you sure its a d30? By 1975 the d44 was standard equipment in 4x4 scouts. The disc brakes are another good indicator. I know there were some disc brake d30's but they're rare. Post a pic of your front cover.

guess you had missed my reply in the hollister thread. I May have a spare sitting here in my cave up on a shelf. I just have to dig it out from all the other spare Scout parts I have. I'm hoping I still have it. I usually don't throw good usable Scout parts out into the scrap pile.

Yes its a Dana 30. Says so on the line card, on the housing, and I just put a 27 spline Dana 30 spartan locker in it. Originally came with 196, believe there was a shortage of Dana 44s at first, hence the 30. Scooter please look for the axle shafts. From your post thought you were taking about a drive shaft. I'm going bigger dia. There, at least 2 1/2". Don't know if there is a difference between disc and drum versions, thought it might be relevant info though.

I most likely have both. I just need to dig them out from under all the other spare parts that I have on the shelf. I'm currently in the middle of trying to finish up current project on the 69 Scout so ron can drive it out today.

I will try and look for both the axle shaft and drive shaft later today.

I have a complete Dana 30 frontend laying on my side yard. I need to get rid of it. It came out of my '73. Would this work? Located in elk grove, CA.

If all goes well I should have a couple to choose from by the end of next week. Thanks for all who chimed in to help.
