My new IH racer

I am going to do some valve cover racing next month. (it's like a pine wood derby except with valve covers.)

terry even gave me some of those fancy bearings to put in it.

I guess I could build a track...

So far I have just layed out a 4' straight edge and rolled the cover along side it to see how it is tracking. It seems to roll straight and with the help of the new turnbuckles I can correct the steering pretty quickly.

You have to call for the rules. I am not sure on the length, but it is all downhill just like a pinewood derby track. Most places have a maximum weight of 10 pounds but these guys just say no added weight.

Bring it sucka!!!
