Very unique ride dude! How come we ain't heard from ya before???

That last pic with the kiddo settin' on the rock is priceless! You better watermark that one, someone will rip it off and next thang ya know it will be in some national print media ad campaign!

Thank you for serving our country!!!

Keep us posted!

Totally f'n sweet! I love the hood ventilation. If ol' sarge got up in my grille and barked, "get down and give me twenty maggot!", you know, I think I'd comply with that very reasonable request. Thanks for answering the call.

Thanks all. Believe it or not, I just found out about this forum, and half the underside of my truck is from IHOnly, should have looked for a forum. I post on the bp from time to time, and (p)irate 4x4.
I'm always looking for ways to toughen my junk up. My buddy Matt is building my "bulletproof 727 and 203/300 doubler while I'm gone, hopefully done by the time I get home in June. Workin on some ideas for "boat siding" and tying the cage into the frame for next fall. We'll see how it comes out. Good thing about steel is... You can always cut it out and start over! :cornut:

the "kiddo" is my 10 year old son. He May actually enjoy wheelin more than me! He's been wrenching with me since he was 5. Gotta bring em up right ya know!

You still in the 'stan?

I was in the khowst / j-bad area in 2006 attached to 10th mountain =d

if you are still there stay safe, if you are home, welcome home brother!

I'm actually in jbad... Small world huh? Get home late May, early June. Looking forward to it, I'll tell ya that much.

Flares are actually early Bronco, 3" cutouts from 4 wheel parts. Trimmed down since I removed the bottom 3 inches of the truck. (I actually removed the bottom 7 inches of the cab:yikes:, and built my rockers out of boxed 1/4" 4x4. Had to shorten the doors by 4" also, but everything worked out in the end, and I have rocker clearance and protection galore!

That is some good work man, thank you for your service to our country good luck with the rest of your build (as we all know is never quite "done")

Thank you jayman... I think that once it's eventually on rockwells and 46" lmtv tires it May in fact be done!:ihih:

until then, we'll keep wrenchin'.

Finally be home in June, ready to get out and wheel her!

Next mods are humvee beadlocks (got em in my connex), then full links and coilovers this winter.
